Seated volleyball is an adapted version of volleyball played on a racquetball court. This sport is played with six players per team, on a smaller court and with a lowered net.
Some part of the body from the buttocks to the shoulders must remain in contact with the floor at all times. This requirement brings all types of players together. When participating together with able bodied players, the playing field is level; disabilities are not a factor.
Seated volleyball is an excellent activity for building teamwork and social skills.
